I've been discussing DoS with a couple casual players on a forum I use often. I thought I would use the thoughts I had there and put them in a blog/discussion post for the wiki.
Sony has been really bad actual advertisement. If there's going to be a new event, tease it a few days or a week in advance. Going from the light event to the dark one, there was pretty much 1 day before it started. And aside from that, it's a pretty stupid idea to put Joker of Light at level 98, since it pretty much means anyone who wants all 4 jokers has to spend every possible second raiding, which, if they do it that way for every raid, will burn hardcore players out fast. Hello all! I've been given administrator access to the wiki, so I've been trying to streamline some things in the configuration to help drive traffic.
First, the navigation bar at the top now has links to all the general pages linked from the front page. This bar is visible on all pages, so it provides easy access back to a general page you might want. I've included direct links to the Stat Comparison pages there as well.
Second, the Trading Post page was copied from my experience on other F2P game wikias, but it's really kind of inefficient; only a certain number of comments are visible on the front page, and you can't "bump" your list, so it just becomes a reposting frenzy. Wiki adoption
Hey folks!
So, this wikia was created late last year during the Destiny of Spirits beta, then gathered dust until I stumbled on it and started updating it with data from the release. Over the last 3 weeks, the wiki has grown and a lot of new users have contributed to its growth, so thank you!
Unfortunately, this wikia does not have any admins, so there's no one to moderate and a lot of the more advanced functionality is locked out to us. Because of the large number of contributors we have, I wanted to start a discussion on the topic of the wiki adoption.
